I am currently seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to fill a casual part-time child care role in my household. My children are in daycare full time, however with inevitable sicknesses and my husband and I juggling full time work, we need assistance when the kids are unable to go to daycare and for the occasional date night. I have a 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter, so I am looking for someone with experience in handling the needs of toddlers and pre-schoolers. I’d like someone engaging and gentle. This position is casual so looking for someone that is looking to pick up some extra hours each month. Perhaps a university student. The successful candidate will take on a variety of responsibilities, including cooking, light housekeeping, preparing meals for the children, doing their laundry, as well as bathing and dressing as needed. Please note that this is a Live-out casual position and a driver's license is not required. If we find the right person we would be open to them picking up the kids early a few set days a week from daycare and playing with them and starting dinners etc. Also, the use of an automobile is not applicable to this role. Open to discussing the possibility of a live in role for a student.
