We are looking for a nanny for our 9 month old boy with light housekeeping, food prep, and pet care duties. This would be in our home in Kensington / Hillhurst. This is a flexible part time position to start, and ideally would (but not necessarily required to!) turn into a full time role when mom goes back to work in late fall / winter. Currently, Dad works more than full time and we have no family in town. We’d love to have some consistent coverage during the week as well as some coverage on various weekends and evenings. Hours could range from 10+++ per week (we’d even consider full time for the right person) depending on the right fit. We may be biased, but our kid is a ton of fun, and totally adorable, and naps consistently for ~1.5 hrs mid morning and ~1 hr in the afternoon, and then sleeps ~7-7 at night. We’d love to find someone who is experienced and engaging with little kids, and who prioritizes his care and treats him like their own, but is also efficient and capable at helping with other things that can be done around the house while he sleeps! Light housecleaning, food prep, etc. would be a HUGE help. Beyond that, we have a border collie and 2 cats, and it’d be awesome if you’re pet-experienced and would like to hang with them too. If interested, there’d be opportunities to be a house sitter some times as well (animals only… we’d take the baby with us!).
