Our family is looking for a Monday-Friday live-out experienced nanny to start in April. We live in Altadore (SW Calgary near Marda Loop) and have 2 children aged 5 (boy – Kindergarten – half days) & 7 (girl - Grade One – full days) and a tiny Bernedoodle dog who is 1.5 years. We are looking for someone who would do pick and drop off at school, drive to activities after school and help in managing our house, which includes cooking for the children (breakfast, lunch and snacks – not dinner), running some errands including groceries, light cleaning (we have a cleaner come every 2 weeks), walking our dog and doing laundry for the children. We also need someone with a valid driver’s license that is comfortable driving in the city. Our primary need is Monday-Friday for pickup and dropoff at school as well as full-day coverage through the summer months, PD days, etc. We are flexible on working hours while the kids are in school and can discuss further depending on availability and candidate preferences. Our son is currently in Kindergarten so is only half days at the moment (done at 11:20am) but he will move to full-day Grade 1 in September. Our daughter is a year older and is going to school full-days now. It is important to us that we have someone who is truly excited about becoming a part of our children’s lives and part of our team. We value educational learning, outdoor play and social interaction. It is our preference to compensate on a salary basis and are confident our compensation will be competitive.
