About the Role You will be caring for our young son, supporting his daily routine, emotional development, and curiosity as he explores the world around him. We value patience, calm guidance, and experience working with children at similar developmental stages. Key Responsibilities • Provide attentive, loving, and patient care to our son • Support learning through play, conversation, and daily routines • Take him outdoors regularly (parks, walks, summer activities) • Assist with dressing, bathing/showering, and hygiene routines • Support potty training consistency (child is already trained but needs reinforcement) • Prepare meals and snacks for the children • Occasionally assist with general family meal preparation, when needed • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the child What We’re Looking For • Prior nanny or childcare experience • Patient, calm, and nurturing personality • Well-mannered, reliable, and trustworthy • Comfortable working independently and planning daily activities • Physically active and enjoys outdoor time with children • Strong communication skills Employment & Compensation • This is a formal, on-payroll position • Employment will be fully compliant with Ontario employment laws • T4 will be issued • CPP and EI contributions will be deducted and remitted as required • Competitive compensation based on experience If you are passionate about childcare and are looking for a stable, long-term, legally compliant position in a family-oriented home, we would love to hear from you.
